We try to keep the process direct. These are the patterns we get asked about most often.

How to read this page

Most founder questions come down to fit, pace, and the kind of partner we are.

The answers below reflect how Orbit Invest actually works: direct communication, practical diligence, and a bias toward usefulness once conviction is formed.

Fast We move quickly when the fit is real and the signal is coherent.
Focused We prioritize the questions that change real company outcomes.
Orbit Invest founder process discussion

What stage do you invest at?

Usually seed through Series B, once there is a real product, a clear problem, and early signs that customer pull is grounded in something durable.

Which sectors fit best?

Software infrastructure, fintech rails, industrial and climate workflow systems, and applied intelligence products with measurable operational leverage.

How fast is your process?

When fit is real, first-pass diligence usually happens inside two weeks. We value speed, but not at the expense of coherence.

What do you help with after investing?

Typically hiring, pricing, market framing, execution rhythm, internal systems, and the next operational bottleneck that matters most.

Do you invest globally?

Yes. We are comfortable with distributed teams and internationally oriented markets as long as the operating fundamentals are strong.

What makes a first meeting productive?

A clear explanation of the product, the market timing, current traction, and the next operating challenge you are trying to solve. Precision matters more than polish.

What happens if the fit is not right?

We try to be direct quickly. If the company is outside our focus or the timing is off, we would rather be clear early than let the process drift.
